Tintin in the Movies

In The Red Sea Sharks, Tintin and the Captain visit Petra. The scene predates a shot in the film “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade,” below center. Indy and his father find the Holy Grail in a temple (not named in the film) carved into a cliff. Both recreate the real Petra. Hergé had a photo of Petra in his collection. Tintin books can be spotted in other movies as well. Here are a couple of examples.
